Dori received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Colorado in Boulder. She has over 20 years painting experience and has exhibited in galleries and museums all over the United States, including a solo show at the Birmingham Museum of Art. 

class description           
For people who claim they can’t draw a stick figure and seasoned artists who want to sharpen their skills and talk about their work. My approach is to cater the course to the individual; students can explore and be guided through the subject matter and styles they choose, or request a tailored plan designed by me. Classes are limited to 6 students.

Each course is 6 weeks long and meets once a week. Students can start at any time; I have a one-room-schoolhouse method that supports beginners and advanced students alike. Price is $120 per 6 week session. Students may purchase a starter kit of supplies from Red Dot Gallery at the first session for $45 dollars additional.
